Meet the Via Artisan Team

Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home. -Matsuo Basho

Via Artisans Founders: Brad & Molly Clark

Our journey led us to start Via Artisans as a way to build something of our own that we can share with others and serve our community.  We started out together as friends growing up in the same small town in Central Texas.  Somewhere along the way we married and embarked on a new life that took us around the world a few times.  And, a few years ago we were given the opportunity to move back home, where we re-discovered the importance of family and community from a new perspective.  Now, we’re raising a family of our own right back where we both started, and looking forward to the opportunities and blessings we may find in the next leg of our journey.

The Maker

Brad’s love of woodworking  and craftmanship was passed down from his father.  He grew up thinking that a garage was a space best suited for a workshop, not for parking your car.  After years away from woodworking while serving in the military in Iraq and Afghanistan, and later starting a career,  he re-discovered his passion for building furniture and working with his hands.  His approach to woodworking is simple and pragmatic – make something you need, make it to last, and make it beautiful.

The Manager

Molly built a successful marketing career and led a non-profit organization for children with special needs in our hometown before deciding to focus on raising our family and leading Via Artisans.  She finds joy in discovering new ways to make life more efficient, happy, and memorable.  Whether she’s leading a business or making dinner in the kitchen, she’s intentional with her creativity and has fallen in love with creating the best home and the best memories for her family.

The Artisans

To make all this work, we rely on a team of fellow artisans, friends and family to make the products and develop the content you will find on this site.  From expert craftsmen to guest bloggers, we seek out the best people and find ways to pass their talents, expertise, and wisdom on for you to enjoy.
